Lance
Lance has played soccer since he was about 7 years old and has been coaching various ages and levels of soccer for 10+ years.
He attended college at Northwest Missouri State University where he founded the university’s soccer club and in the process performed numerous duties including becoming the club’s first president, working on community outreach to get more college players involved in coaching with the AYSO, scheduling, fundraising, and recruiting.
In 2010 he received his Bachelor of Science in Recreation from Northwest Missouri State University and then went on to receive a Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Management from the University of Central Missouri.
He has coached for the American Youth Soccer Organization, Maryville Parks and Recreation (where he also ran the city youth futsal league), Northwest Missouri State University’s soccer club, Unified FC, Brookside Soccer Club, Legends Soccer Club, and as head girls coach and assistant boys coach at Lincoln College Preparatory Academy in Kansas City, Missouri.
In 2011 he received a certificate for Professional Development from United Soccer Coaches (formerly the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.) In 2012 he received coach of the year from the Kansas City Missouri School District’s Interscholastic League and completed his USSF ‘D’ licensing.
